Canon[]
Celebrimbor may have been born in Middle Earth or in Aman, but had no part in the Oath of Feanor. He remained with his father Curufin and uncle Celegorm until they were expelled from Nargothrond: Celebrimbor remained behind, repudiating his father's deeds.
He survived the First Age and went on to found the Gwaith-i-Mírdain in Second Age Eregion, eventually forging the Rings of Power with Sauron's assistance. He died in the war that took place after Sauron made the One Ring and declared his true intentions. He died without an heir, and as such was the last of the House of Feanor in Middle Earth.
