OC Biography[]
Telperina is the only daughter of Alqualonde's harbour master. She married Halatir, at the time an apprentice smith, who later joined the household guard of the Feanorians and fought at Alqualonde. Telperina joined the host of Fingolfin and crossed the Grinding Ice. She did not see her husband again until the Feast of Reuniting, when he left the service of Maedhros and joined her in the Hidden City of Gondolin. Despite struggling with her husband's long absences at the outer Gates, as well as her own longing for the sea, they remained together and had a son, Tuilo.
In the Fall of Gondolin, Telperina evacuated with the Eastern host through the tunnel, while Halatir remained behind to detonate the explosives behind them. They were reunited again outside Gondolin, and went on to the Havens of Sirion, where their second child Laire was born.
Telperina is a weaver and artist by trade, and sometimes likes to paint murals on her bedroom wall.
