OC Biography[]
In the Gondolin RPG, Tindariel is Glorfindel's younger sister. She was born at Nevrast, shortly after the return of the Noldor to Middle-Earth. There, she had a happy, carefree childhood, much of which she spent playing in rockpools with Elemmakil.
She came to Gondolin with her people when it was completed and lived there as Lady of the Golden Flower, a close friend of Idril. She also had some political influence, sitting on the Lords' Council as a second representative of her brother's large house. She established the Ladies' Combat Company, and later married Argon, the recently-released younger brother of the King, despite Glorfindel's objections. In Gondolin's first election, Tindariel was voted in as Regent, and served in this role until the declaration of martial law as Gondolin fell under attack.
In the Fall of Gondolin, Tindariel was taken captive and brought to Angband, where Morgoth took her as his Elven consort. She bore him a son, Malcalim, later revealed to be Argon's, and became pregnant with a second, Elammoth, while still a prisoner. During her time as Dark Queen, she permitted the release of all Elven thralls in Angband. She eventually escaped captivity, regained her memories of her life before, and gave birth to her younger son Elammoth at the Havens of Sirion.
